En este 2020, declarado como Año Internacional de la Sanidad Vegetal, IBMA Global celebra su 25 aniversario. Durante todos estos años, IBMA ha desarrollado y transferido su experiencia para posicionar sus tecnologías de bioprotección en la Gestión Integrada de Plagas (GIP), pilar de la Directiva de Uso Sostenible y concepto que también tiene ya sus años, aunque los Estados miembros sigan sin adoptar las medidas necesarias para realmente fomentar la gestión de plagas y enfermedades con bajo consumo de plaguicidas, dando prioridad, cuando sea posible, a los métodos no químicos, de manera que los usuarios profesionales de plaguicidas opten por las prácticas y los productos que supongan riesgos mínimos para la salud humana y el medio ambiente, de entre todos los disponibles para tratar un mismo problema de plagas.
In this Year 2020 declared as the International Year of Plant Health, IBMA Global celebrates its 24th anniversary. During all these years, IBMA has developed and transferred its experience to position its bioprotection technologies as part of the Integrated Pest Management (GIP), pillar of the Sustainable Use Directive and concept that also has its years, although the Member States continue without adopting the necessary measures to really promote the management of pests and diseases with low consumption of pesticides, and making the switch to practices and products with the lowest risk to human health and the environment among those available for the same pest problem. Through some “alive” examples, IBMA Spain will introduce the success of the bioprotection tools, and explain the latest advances on regulation towards a greener agriculture.
